Syracuse, NY – United States Patent & Trademark Office issues second patent for company’s U-Series™ fiber optic cassette.
FIBERONE announced it has been issued another patent for its fiber optic cassette product. The fiber optic cassette is the integral piece of the company’s Fiber Connectivity System of products which improves fiber connectivity, reduces space, and simplifies operations in communication networks.
“We are pleased the USPTO saw the unique benefits of our fiber cassette design. We designed the cassette with the technician in mind. Accessing connectors in fiber networks can be a challenge for technicians as they are often recessed making them difficult to work on. Our design allows individual fiber cassettes to slide forward out of the chassis. This functionality immediately puts connectors at a technician’s finger tips, making it simple to inspect, test, and connect to the network ” said Craig Mead, President & General Manager.
